About JK Hitech Rice Mill
Milling With Care Since 1976
Nestled on the India-Nepal border, JK Hitech has been transforming golden paddy into premium rice since 1976. Founded and led by the JK family, we carry forward generations of understanding what makes rice exceptional — the soil, the harvest, and the craftsmanship of milling — inside a facility built with precision machinery imported from Japan. What we haven’t automated is our care. Every sack still carries a family’s name behind it.

Why JK Hitech
Rooted in Biharu2019s Grain Heritage
Location shapes quality more than most buyers realize, and ours is a genuine advantage. Sitting on the India-Nepal border in Raxaul places us in one of the region’s most fertile grain belts, with direct access to some of the finest paddy varieties grown locally. This isn’t just useful for our staple offerings like Arwa and Sona Masoori — it’s what allows us to mill Katarni rice, an indigenous Bihar specialty prized for its natural aroma and distinct character. Katarni isn’t a rice you can source and process with the same care just anywhere; it requires proximity to where it’s actually grown, and that’s exactly what our location gives us.
