About JK Hitech Rice Mill

A Family Mill on the Nepal Border

Nestled on the India-Nepal border in Raxaul, Bihar, JK Hitech Rice Mill Pvt. Ltd. has been transforming golden paddy into premium rice since 1976. What began as a single vision rooted in the fertile grain belt of Bihar has grown into one of the region’s most technologically advanced rice processing operations — without ever losing the sense that this is, first and foremost, a family’s business.

Founded and led by the JK family, JK Hitech carries forward generations of understanding what makes rice truly exceptional — the soil it grows in, the care taken during harvest, and the craftsmanship of milling. That understanding is now paired with a fully automated facility built on precision machinery imported from Japan, capable of processing 1,00,000+ metric tonnes annually.

Our location itself is part of our story. Sitting on the India-Nepal border gives us privileged access to some of the finest paddy varieties in the region, grown in soil and conditions that shape everything from Bihar’s everyday staples to indigenous specialty grains like Katarni rice. It’s this combination — modern processing power, generational grain expertise, and genuine regional access — that defines who we are.

Today, JK Hitech serves customers across India, from households to distributors, but the standard hasn’t changed since 1976 every sack that leaves our facility should be one we’d be proud to put on our own table.

Our Mission & Vision

Our vision defines where we aspire to be, while our mission guides every decision we make along the way

Good Rice, Honestly Made

Our mission is simple to state and demanding to live up to: process and deliver rice of consistent, dependable quality, at every scale we operate — from a single retail bag to a distributor’s bulk order. We hold ourselves to one test above all: would this be good enough for our own family’s table? If the answer isn’t yes, it doesn’t leave our facility.

Bihar’s Grain, Trusted Nationwide

We want JK Hitech to be the rice mill Indian households and distributors think of first — not because we’re the loudest name in the market, but because we’re the most consistent one. Our vision is to grow our reach across India while keeping the same accountability and care that has defined us since 1976, so that scale becomes a reason to trust us more, not less.

Founder’s Message

A message from the JK family

When we started JK Hitech in 1976, we weren’t trying to build the biggest rice mill in Bihar — we were trying to build one we could stand behind completely. Rice is something that ends up on someone’s family table, often more than once a day, and that’s not something we’ve ever taken lightly.

Bringing in fully automated, Japanese-grade machinery was never about distancing ourselves from the process. If anything, it let us hold every single grain to the standard we used to apply only by hand — checking size, purity, and quality without exception, at a scale that lets us serve not just our neighbours in Raxaul, but families and businesses across India.

What hasn’t changed, and what we hope never does, is that this is still a family running this mill. We’re reachable. We know our product. And every sack that leaves our facility is one we’d be glad to see opened in our own kitchen.

Thank you for trusting us with something as simple, and as important, as your rice.”
